Charlie Wisecup, 86, passed away Sunday morning while on his yearly winter vacation in Arizona.

A resident of Missouri Valley, Wisecup opened the Wisecup Farm Museum in 2001. Located at 1200 W Canal St., the museum housed historical farm equipment and countless pieces of memorabilia, while also playing host to various events and gatherings over the years.

“He always wanted to be involved and do what he could to help this town and help all sorts of people,” said Garth Brown, Wisecup’s grandson and assistant vice president of American National Bank.

A funeral service date is to be announced, with the family anticipating the service to fall in late March or early April.
