City of Modale City Council Meeting Minutes November 3, 2022 The special meeting of the Modale City Council was held on November 3, 2022. Mayor James Cox called the meeting to order in person and via zoom at 7:00 p.m. Councilmembers present were Blair Adams, Kathy Dugdale, Terigene Tiffey and Amber Larsen. Councilmember Katie Offenbacker attended via Zoom. Visitor(s) present were Lorraine Peterson Staff present were Linda Windschitl and Shauna Gerke. Tiffey made a motion to approve the Consent Agenda. Larsen seconded the motion; motion carried with a 5-0 vote. Tiffey made a motion to approve the Notice to Bid regarding the Sewer project. Larsen seconded the motion; motion carried with a 5-0 vote. Larsen made a motion to approve the Dorsey Bidding Process. Dugdale seconded the motion; motion carried with a 5-0 vote. Kathy Dugdale reminded the Council of the Veteran’s dinner on 11/11/22 at the Legion. Anyone is welcome to attend. The cost is $20.00, Vets eat free. Lorraine Peterson from Community Bank spoke about bank cards. Cox reported that he was contacted by an individual interested in purchasing the property located at 408 N. Main St. The Clerk will contact our lawyer to get information regarding the process to sell the property. Tiffey made a motion to adjourn. Adams seconded the motion; motion carried with a 5-0 vote.
