CITY OF MONDAMIN SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES New Water Plant Site – 409 Cedar (Approx) Tuesday, July 18, 2023 4:00 P.M. 1. Water Plant Groundbreaking Ceremony Those in attendance: Mayor Howrey, Terry Coyle, Jim Rains, John Glennie, Karen Breyfogle, Mary Seago, Alyx Hirst, Steve Hinkel, Marguerite Rains; Tammy DeBord from SWIPCO; Tanner Lambert from RP Constructors; Kendal Brigham, Blake Birkel, Trevor Breeling and Ethan Joy from JEO Engineering; Pat Skelton from Midstates Bank; Aaron Hickman from MV Times News, & local resident Becky Coyle. All those in attendance were present for the groundbreaking ceremony of the new water plant. Speakers included former mayor Marguerite Rains, Ethan Joy, and Karen Breyfogle. Pictures were taken for social media. 2. Adjourn Having no further business to conduct, K. Breyfogle made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Seconded by M. Seago. Motion carried 5-0. The meeting was adjourned at 4:24 p.m. These minutes are as recorded by the Mondamin City Clerk and subject to approval at the next regular city council meeting.
