This past Friday, I went to see the Missouri Valley High School Theatre Department's presentation of “Register Here.” You can find photos of that elsewhere in this paper.
I did save two photos for this column, though, which will be very short and sweet.
There were a couple different scenes in the play where, not just a copy, but the LATEST copy of the Missouri Valley Times-News was employed as a stage prop. It was simply reading material placed there for the performers to use as they sat on a sofa, but hey, if you weren't there, you will just have to take my word that the newspaper was very integral to the plot. The show might not have gone on if it weren't for that newspaper holding things together.
