Deanna Morrison, age 86, passed away July 28, 2024. She was born Nov. 13, 1937, to Arthur and Irene (Porter) Fisher in Missouri Valley, IA. Deanna worked at Missouri Valley Growers, Nickerson Farms and at Iowa Feed & Grain for many years. She enjoyed watching all the neighborhood children and loved them as her own. Her favorite role was being a mother and a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Morrison; brother, Norman Fisher; and infant sister, Kathleen Fisher.
Deanna is survived by her children, Cynthia (Jose) Estrada, Lurene Phippen, George Morrison, and Leon (Carrie) Morrison; sister-in-law, Shirley (Roger) Cooper; eight grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held from 5-7:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Monday, Aug. 26, 2024.
Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2024. The family will direct memorials.
