Coaching Experience / Background ( describe previous stops, how many years, both high school and college )
I started coaching in 2001 - Dana College as a defensive back coach. Coached indoor football for the Iowa Blackhawks in 2009-2010 (2x indoor champions), Youth football, Middle school football, Semi Pro football, Millard North High School (Omaha, Neb., 2005) and at Burke High School (Omaha, Neb., 6 years). I have also coached Track and Field, Basketball and Baseball.
Did you play HS or College Football ( Where / What years / What positions )
I played HS football in California and college football at De Anza Junior college and Morningside University (1995-1997, Division 2). I played indoor football for 9 years - Omaha Beef and Iowa Blackhawks most notable.
What is the biggest thing you're looking forward to as we head into the 2024 fall campaign:
I am looking forward to the competition. Looking forward to seeing all the hard work the players have done over the summer to show on the field.

You've been dealt a 'young' team, what are you hoping to instill in the first year in building this program:
Hard work, team work, and giving relentless effort on each play. I want them to understand it is "We", not me and build and grow together to become a competitive team in class 1A football.
OFF THE FIELD
What position will you be teaching at the school ( Middle School / High School):
I will not be teaching at the school. I work at Creighton University with the Trio Talent Search Program. I am a Trio Coordinator, I have been in this position for 13 years. I do college preparation for both high school and middle school students.
What college did you graduate from / What degrees do you have?
I graduated from Bellevue University with a degree in Physical Education and a coaching minor.
