The Harrison County Fair is seeking nominations for the 10th Annual Little Miss Harrison County competition. Qualifications are listed below.
Contestant must be at least 3 years of age and not more than 6 years of age on July 1
Contestant is a resident of Harrison County or attends a Harrison County school
Registration deadline is June 21 (no late registrations will be accepted)
Winner must be available to ride in the Harrison County Fair Parade on Saturday, July 27 at 10:30 a.m. and represent the Harrison County Fair during their reign
All contestants must attend the judging/punch party and crowning ceremony
All contestants will receive a sash and are encouraged to wear it during visits to the fair during the week
Contest is limited to the first 15 contestant entries received
If selected as a contestant, the judging and punch party will be Saturday, July 6 at St. Paul Lutheran Church (201 N. Second Street, Missouri Valley) in the Fellowship Hall, at 10:30 a.m. It should last approximately one hour.
Crowning will be on Tuesday, July 23 at the Free Entertainment Tent located at the Harrison County Fair Grounds at 6:30 p.m. With limited entries, the fair asks that each contestant be able to attend the crowning on that date. The winner should also be available to ride in the Harrison County Fair parade on Saturday, July 27 at 10:30 a.m. They will ride with the 2024 Fair Queen and King, so a vehicle will be already arranged.

Any entry received after the first 15 will be put on a waiting list by order received if an accepted contestant is unable to attend the judging on July 8. You will be contacted either way, letting you know whether or not your child was one of the first 15 entries.
