Lori Ann Burbridge (age 58) of Missouri Valley lost her battle with liver disease on Monday, Jan. 25, 2021. Lori was born on Aug. 7, 1962, to Duane and Emma (Baker) Wiggins in Omaha, Neb. The family lived in Omaha and then moved to a farm north of Magnolia. Lori grew up in Harrison County and later raised her sons in the Pisgah area. She married Richard on May 9, 1998. The couple lived in Woodbine and then eventually moved to Missouri Valley. Lori enjoyed camping, fishing, and boating with Rich, her children, and grandchildren. She loved dolphins and has a beautiful collection. She also enjoyed staying home and taking care of their house and her grandchildren. Lori’s grandchildren were the highlight of her life! She loved them above everything and would do anything for them.
Lori was preceded in death by her parents Duane and Emma Wiggins.
Lori is survived by her husband of 22 years Richard of Missouri Valley; sons Randy (Beth) Allen of Missouri Valley, Russell (Colleen) Allen of Logan; stepson James (Brittany) Burbridge of Linden, Texas; stepdaughters Sara (Bryan) Mulligan of Council Bluffs and Aimee Lopez of Council Bluffs. Sisters Diane (Bruce) Archer of Magnolia and Kathy Cox of Magnolia; brother Duane Wiggins of Missouri Valley; 5 grandsons, 6 granddaughters, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was Sunday, with a prayer service following, at Hennessey Funeral Home in Missouri Valley.
Funeral Service was Monday, Feb. 1, 2021 at Hennessey Funeral Home in Missouri Valley. Pastor Connie McWilliams Officiated. The Music Selections were “The Old Rugged Cross”, “In the Garden”, “If Tomorrow Never Comes” and “It’s Your Love”.
The Honorary Casket Bearers were Terry Tiffey, John Tiffey, Bryan Mulligan, Haylee Allen, Holly Allen, Rylee Allen, Kylee Lopez, Roslyn Burbridge, and Reba Burbridge. The Casket Bearers were Hunter Allen, Clayton Allen, Dillon Woods, Jayden Mulligan, Trent Sakalauskas, Jamey Wheeldon, Jay Wheeldon, Gail Hatcher Jr., and Jeff Hatcher.
