Minutes of Regular Meeting Board of Directors The Missouri Valley Community School District Wednesday, March 22, 2023 Call to Order President Jeff Janssen called the meeting to order at 7:30 A.M. on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at the District Office Conference Room, 109 E Michigan St, Missouri Valley, Iowa. Roll Call Present via Zoom: Jeff Janssen, John Ferris, Joanna Barnard, and Carrie Watson arrived at 7:34am Absent: Bridget Myler Also Present: Superintendent Christi Gochenour and Secretary Ashley Anderson Approve Agenda Director Ferris approved the agenda as presented. Director Barnard seconded. All Ayes; motion carried. Recognition and Communication: Visitors/Gifts/Services None BOARD GOVERNANCE Bid Approval Director Ferris motioned to approve the bid from RTI as presented. Director Watson seconded. All Ayes; motion carried. First and Final Reading of Policy Director Watson motioned to approve the first and final reading of policies. 406.4 Licensed Employee Compensation for Extra Duty as presented in prior exhibit seven-J-one. 406.4R1 Supplemental Pay as presented. 409.1 Employee Vacations, Holidays, and Leaves of Absences as presented in exhibit seven–J-three previously and 412.1 Classified Employee Compensation as presented in exhibit previously noted seven-J-four. Director Barnard seconded. All Ayes; motion carried. ADJOURNMENT Director Barnard made a motion to adjourn the meeting, and Director Watson seconded. All Ayes; motion carried.
