A recent article in the Times-News shared the the Story Street Mobile Food Pantry, which stops at St. Paul Lutheran Church on the first Wednesday of each month, would have alternate dates in January and March.
The March 4 date will remain the same, as far as Pastor Jean McCartney knows, but she shared that there will not be any stops in January or February due to internal changes at the pantry.
Note that the March date is a Tuesday, as the first Wednesday in March falls on Ash Wednesday, so the mobile pantry will stop on Tuesday, March 4.
The pantry made its first stop in Missouri Valley on Feb. 1, 2023, and has been making monthly stops ever since. At that particular stop, the pantry served 122 people, 40 households and distributed 1,014 food items.
