Notice of Public Hearing Harrison County Board of Supervisors has scheduled a hearing for Thursday, March 11, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. in the Courthouse at 111 N 2nd Avenue in Logan, Iowa to consider establishment of a Road Assessment District to finance and construct an improved road surface on Ottawa Lane from 296th Street (F-58) to approximately one-half mile north of 296th Street. Said section of Ottawa Lane is presently surfaced with rock and gravel. The purpose of said hearing is to consider the installation of a seal coat surface upon the existing roadway at an estimated project cost of approximately $80,000 which will be paid initially by Harrison County Secondary Road Funds. If approved, one hundred percent (100%) of the project costs are proposed to be repaid back to the County over a period of ten (10) years plus interest at a rate not to exceed 5.25%.
