SPECIAL CALLED CITY COUNCIL MEETING Thursday, March 28th, 2024 – 6:30 P.M. Council Chambers – Woodbine, IA The special council meeting of the City of Woodbine, Iowa was held pursuant to law on the above date and hour. Mayor Cogdill called the meeting to order with the following members present: LENNING, GAU, MANN, & BANTAM. VANDEMARK was absent. Motion Gau/Mann to approve the agenda. Ayes: 4 Motion carried. Motion Gau/Lenning to appoint Brad Steppuhn to the Boar4d of Adjustments to fill a vacancy. Ayes: 4 Motion carried. Motion Gau/Mann to approve the renewal of property/casualty/liability/work comp insurance with EMC effective April 1, 2024. Ayes: 4 Motion carried. Motion Gau/Lenning to approve street lights being removed for underground electric project, but replacing the lights with the same of area being covered by the lights and relocation of garbage receptacles during the project which is set to begin on April 1, 2024.
