Stanley A. Longmeyer, age 87, of McClelland, passed away June 13, 2022, at Jennie Edmundson Hospital. Stan was born Dec. 20, 1934, in Beebeetown, to the late Otto and Elsie Ruby (Townsend) Longmeyer. He graduated from Underwood High School in 1952, and proudly served his country in the U.S. Army from 1957 – 1963. Stan married Toni Tiarks on April 12, 1958, in Council Bluffs. To this union three children were born, Steven, Philip, and Barbara. Stan was employed with United Airlines for 42 years retiring in 1997, and drove school buses for the Underwood Community School District for 20 years. He was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ; Amber Masonic Lodge #569; Scottish Rite and Tangier Shrine of Omaha, Neb. In addition to his parents, Stan was preceded in death by his wife, Toni in 2008; son, Philip in 2011; and sister, Ramona Stephenson. Stan is survived by his son, Steven Longmeyer of McClelland; daughter, Barbara Keysor of Treynor; grandchildren, Richard (Kristin) Longmeyer of Underwood, Sarah (Paul) Cogdill of Dunlap, Mitchell Keysor of Treynor; great-grandchildren, Blair, Owen, Paisley, Mollie, Kinley, Finn, and Everly; niece, Marta (Keith) Kirchner of Omaha; sister, Marilyn Magnusson of Faribault, Minn.; nieces and nephews. Visitation with the family was Monday, June 20, 2022 at Cutler-O’Neill-Meyer-Woodring Bayliss Park Chapel. Funeral service was Tuesday, June 21,2022, at the funeral home. Interment Cedar Lawn Cemetery with military rites tendered by the Kanesville Honor Guard. Memorials are suggested to St. John’s UCC. Arrangements made by
