Thomas Dean Peasley, 22, died on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, as the result of an automobile accident. He was born on June 23, 1999, in Onawa, to Greg Peasley and Kathy Clark. He grew up in River Sioux. Thomas attended West Harrison and graduated in 2017. For a short time he helped in construction, framing houses, and then he went to work at Carry-On.

Thomas lived his life to the fullest. He loved music and playing video games. In school he enjoyed wrestling and football. He spent time working out and cheering loudly for the Kansas City Chiefs. Most of all, he cherished the time he was able to spend with his family, including his dog, Tootie.

Thomas was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ron Clark, Debbie Muncil and Tom and Georgia Peasley; and uncle, Mikel Clark. He is survived by his parents, Greg Peasley of Onawa, Kathy and her husband Donald Wright of Logan; siblings, Megan and her husband Shane Weber of Onawa, Dustin Peasley and Delaney Mentzer of Missouri Valley and Kali Peasley of Logan; nephew, Brayson; nieces, Harlyn and Emersyn; special friend, Presley Brumbaugh of Sidney; and many other relatives and friends.

A funeral service was held on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at Fouts Funeral Home in Woodbine. Beth Fouts presided over the service. The recorded musical selections were “Give Heaven Some Hell” by Hardy, “23” by Chayce Beckham, “See You Again” by Wiz Khalifa, “Never Say Goodbye” by Bon Jovi and “Dancing In The Sky” by Dani and Lizzy. The pallbearers were Kolby Kuhlman, Wyatt Peasley, Brayson Weber, Lane Peasley, Dalton Heilig and Tyler Heilig.
