Timothy Kent Casteel, age 58, of Missouri Valley, passed away on Friday, Nov. 12, 2021, at the Community Memorial Hospital in Missouri Valley.
He was born Sept. 2, 1963, in Omaha, Neb., to Lloyd and Rose (Lemars) Casteel. Tim graduated from Missouri Valley High School. He enlisted into the United States Marines and when he got out he attended Iowa Western Community College where he got an Associate Degree as a Machinist. He worked several machinist jobs, and fourteen years as a gunsmith at Carl Jarl in Omaha, and worked at G & G in Omaha.
Tim is preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Casteel; and brother, Brian Casteel.
He is survived by his mother, Rose Lemars; wife, Sallie Casteel of Missouri Valley; step-children, John Larsen and wife Nikki of Omaha, Suzanna Parr and husband Scott of Steubenville, Ohio, Sarah Larsen of Arlington, Neb.; eleven grandchildren; siblings, Denise Anderson and husband Terry of Waukee, Dennis Casteel and wife Sue of Maryland, Terresa Casteel of Florida; and three nephews.
