Hannah Thomas the 2022 Harrison County Fair Queen had this to say, “I would like to thank the Harrison County Fair Board for everything they do throughout the year to have a successful fair. Thank you for all the opportunities I have been able to experience in the last month. It is an honor to represent Harrison County!” Thomas represented Harrison County in the Iowa State Fair Queen Contest in addition she also gave an educational presentation titled 'A diagnosis is not a definition', and she performed in the Bill Riley Talent Show and advanced to the semifinals receiving some very kind words from Bill Riley, Jr. shown in the photo with Thomas.

The Logan-Magnolia Summer Band had busy summer. Not only did they participate in Section Leader Academy at ISU, Independence Day Parade in Logan, a Bowling Night, the Harrison County Fair Parade in Missouri Valley, a Pool Party, and Old Settlers Parade in Magnolia on Saturday August 20th. They also had the chance to march at the Iowa State Fair Parade on August 10th and it was broadcasted live on Iowa Public TV, Facebook, YouTube, and iowapbs.org and were unit #50! The Logan-Magnolia Music department said, “These amazing students have worked hard this summer, all while these events being completely optional!”
