Short Play Description

Based on the iconic 1985 Paramount movie which was inspired by the classic Hasbro board game, Clue is a hilarious farce-meets-murder mystery. The tale begins at a remote mansion, where six mysterious guests assemble for an unusual dinner party where murder and blackmail are on the menu.

When their host turns up dead, they all become suspects. Led by Wadsworth – the butler, Miss Scarlett, Professor Plum, Mrs. White, Mr. Green, Mrs. Peacock and Colonel Mustard race to find the killer as the body count stacks up.

Clue is the comedy whodunit that will leave both cult-fans and newcomers in stitches as they try to figure out…WHO did it, WHERE, and with WHAT!

Directors Comments

Director Mitchel McKinney commented, “The year has been off to a great start mainly because of the dedication and enthusiasm of the cast and crew this year. This is the biggest drama department Lo-Ma has had in the last five years. The cast has been nothing short of great! They've been jazzed this whole time about the production and that shows in the progress they've made over the last few months. The crew has been on it with creating props, painting flats, and doing everything off-stage demands. I couldn't be more proud!”

McKinney added, “I want to give a quick shout out to senior Wyatt Grimes. He's been a part of Lo-Ma Drama since 8th grade (my first time directing a junior high production) and he's been a shining example of what it means to be an actor and performer. His freshman year, he took on a leading role in "Putnam County." He came back the next year to knock it out of the park as the lead reporter in "Northwoods Nonsense" and he was a crowd stealer during his performance as Uncle Fester in "Addams Family." It will be tough next year not being able to work with him, but I know he has a bright future ahead. Congrats Wyatt!
