AppleFest returns to Woodbine on Sept. 26
AppleFest will return to Woodbine on Saturday, Sept. 26, bringing a full day of food, entertainment, shopping, contests and family activities to the community.
The annual celebration will feature one of Iowa’s largest car, bike and tractor shows, with hundreds of cars, bikes, trucks and tractors on display. Visitors can also browse more than 200 indoor and outdoor vendors offering antiques, clothing, crafts, food, toys, memorabilia, home goods and décor items.
Food will be a major part of the festivities, with visitors able to sample a variety of apple-inspired dishes while also enjoying food trucks and offerings from local restaurants.
Families can take advantage of the Kidz and Teenz Zones, which will include bounce houses, an obstacle course, petting zoo, trackless train and more. A variety of contests and games will also be held, including Loud Pipes and Stein Holding competitions.
Live music will help set the tone for the celebration, with bands and performers beginning at 4 p.m. One2Go will take the stage at 7 p.m., and there will be no cover charge.
AppleFest will take place all day in Woodbine. For more details and a complete list of events, visit www.woodbineapplefest.com.
