Barbara Ann (Wilson) Coberly, age 84 passed away on March 27, 2026, at Rose Vista nursing home in Woodbine.
Barbara was born in Onawa, on March 12, 1942, to William F. and Pearl M. (Christensen) Wilson.
Barbara married Kenneth Coberly, and they were married for 64 years and four months.
Barbara and Kenneth have been members of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Missouri Valley since 1975. She enjoyed her music, reading the bible and several other books. She was a Sunday school teacher for several years and sang in the church choir, which she really enjoyed.
Barbara enjoyed spending time with her 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson.
Barbara is preceded in death by her grandparents William and Sylvia Wilson; grandparents Chris and Irma Christensen; her parents William and Pearl Wilson; father and mother-in-law Clyde and Deloris Coberly; aunt/godmother Adele M. Christensen; brother William G. and Helen Wilson; brothers-in-law; Walter Barclay, Ronald L. Coberly; brother and sister-in-law Jerry and Joyce Eliff; and nephew William D. Wilson.
Barbara is survived by her husband Kenneth; children: Kristin Marie and Anthony Selk, Richard Allen Coberly, Brenda Kay and Eugene Jackson, Kevin Wayne Coberly; brother and sister-in-law David and Lois Nickols.
