CITY OF MONDAMIN SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES Mondamin City Hall Thursday, July 14, 2022 5:30 P.M. 1. Opening of Meeting a. Mayor Jamie Howrey called the meeting to order at 5:33 p.m., leading those present in the Pledge of Allegiance. b. Roll Call Council members present: Mary Seago, Karen Breyfogle, Terry Coyle, and Jim Rains. John Glennie arrived at 5:43 p.m. Staff present: Steve Hinkel and Alyx Hirst. c. Approval of Agenda Motion made to approve agenda by K. Breyfogle, with a second by J. Rains. Motion carried 4-0. J. Glennie was not present. 2. Public Comments None 3. New Business a. Commercial Recreation Specialists Quote: Splashpad Repair Parts K. Breyfogle made a motion to accept quote in the amount of $2,782.00 for the Smartpoint Manifold and Activator Kit and to pay for the invoice out of the Community Betterment Fund. The motion was seconded by M. Seago. Motion carried 5-0. K. Breyfogle made a new motion to have Midwest Welding build a secure box at the splashpad for donations. The motion was seconded by M. Seago. Motion carried 5-0. 4. Other Business None 5. Adjourn Having no further business to conduct, K. Breyfogle made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Seconded by M. Seago. Motion carried 5-0.
