Daniel James Hughes, age 27, of Missouri Valley, passed away on Nov. 6, 2024. He was born on Sept. 8, 1997, in Missouri Valley, to Bill and Rachel Hughes.
Daniel fought an 11-year battle with severe epilepsy. We rejoice that he is seizure-free in the arms of Jesus. Revelation 21:4 "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall be any more pain; for the former things are passed away."
Daniel had a deep love for dogs, capturing memories through photography, and for spending countless hours working on various videography projects, including filming and uploading services for Landmark Baptist Church where he attended locally. He was particularly fond of the Kendrick Brothers films, and he had a lifelong devotion to his beloved Nebraska Cornhuskers.
Daniel graduated from Missouri Valley High School in 2016; he then attended Iowa Western Community College where he entered the Graphic Communications program.
He will be greatly missed by family, friends, and all those who had the privilege of knowing him.
