Move over, Grover.

Donald Trump, who served as President of the United States from 2016-2020, becomes the second in history to serve non-consecutive terms, an honor previously held solely by Grover Cleveland, who was president from 1885-1889 and 1893-1897.

Nationwide results show Trump currently holding 292 electoral votes, with Democratic candidate Kamala Harris at 224. With 270 electoral votes required to win, the remaining races that have not been called in Alaska, Arizona, Maine and Nevada will hold no impact.

This also marks the first time in 20 years that a Republican candidate has won the popular vote, with Trump currently outpacing Harris by roughly five million.

Now, onto Harrison County results.

A total of 7,959 votes from the county's 11 precincts were cast in the presidential portion of the ballot, with a full breakdown of:

Donald J. Trump and JD Vance (REP) – 69.93% (5,566)

Kamala D. Harris and Tim Walz (DEM) – 28.21% (2,245)

Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. and Nicole Shanahan (WTP) – 1.04% (83)

Chase Oliver and Mike ter Maat (LIB) – 0.45% (36)

Write-in vote – 0.26% (21)

Claudia De la Cruz and Katrina Garcia (PSL) – 0.05% (4)

William P. Stodden and Stephanie H. Cholensky (SOC) – 0.04% (3)

Shiva Ayyadurai and Crystal Ellis – 0.01% (1)

On a state level, Trump carried Iowa's six electoral votes, and, as of Wednesday morning, had received nearly 56% of votes while winning the popular vote by more than 200,000.
