Bulldogs overpower Wolverines
Boyer Valley scored seven rushing touchdowns on their way to a 53-7 Homecoming Victory over East Mills in 8-Man, District 10 action on Oct. 3 at McAllister Field in Dunlap.
“We set the tone from the start, as our backfield benefited from excellent play at the line of scrimmage,” stated Head Coach Jeremy Christiansen. “Our backs ran hard, and we found some gaps up front.”
Levi Reineke (86 yds, 3 TDs), Owen Sindt (35 yds, 2 TDs), Brody Koski (22 yds, 1 TD), and Jericho Ingram (20 yds, 1 TD) all found their way into the endzone for the Bulldogs.
Reineke (10 tackles), Zack Sandvold (5.5 tackles), and Justice Garvis (5 tackles) led the solid Bulldogs defense. Brody Koski finished with two interceptions, including a 40 yard touchdown scamper.
“Our entire defense really flowed to the ball and played assignment football,” stated Christiansen. “We’re playing well right now, but we have a big challenge ahead of us this week, but we’ll be ready.”
Up Next (Oct. 10): Boyer Valley (2-1, 5-1) will be at Woodbine as 8-Man, District 10 action continues this week.
