Tigers sink Vikings
Woodbine used another fast start and cruised to a 76-6 win at Stanton in 8-Man, District 10 play on Sept. 19.
“We went down and took care of business,” stated Head Coach Dustin Crook. “Our line dominated, allowing our backs to make some plays. We were able to get several reserves some quality varsity reps.”
Brody Pryor finished with 171 yards and three touchdown passes, with Cal Pryor adding 93 yards and a touchdown toss.
Landon Blum (2 TDs), Ayden Coenen (1 TD), and Brenden Wagner (1 TD) all had scoring receptions, and Blaine Leaders added a punt return for a score.
Defensively, Joe Freund (4.5 tackles), Brenner Sullivan (3.0 tackles) and Jax Pryor (2.5 tackles) led the way, with Dillon Reed adding an interception.
“We’re pleased with where we are at this point, but in order for us to finish where we want to be, we have to stay focused and keep improving,” Crook concluded. “Our goals are still in front of us, and we just want to get better, play by play, each week.”
Up Next (Sept. 26): Woodbine (3-0, 4-0) will be at East Mills (Malvern) as 8-Man, District 10 action continues.
