Wolves get past Panthers
Logan-Magnolia could not limit the big plays, as IKM-Manning pulled out a 27-13 win over the Panthers on Homecoming on Oct. 3 at the Bob Evans Sports Complex in Logan.
“We kept it close the entire night, but we couldn’t get the big stop when we needed it,” stated Head Coach Matt Straight. “They had a quick start, and we faced an uphill climb the entire way.”
Brodie Davis finished with 189 yards passing and one touchdown pass. Crosby Yoder was the top target with nine receptions, 99 yds and a score.
Wade Hawkins (5.5 tackles), Cael Wallis (4.5 tackles) and Yoder (4.5 tackles) led the Panthers defense.
“We were in the game all the way through the fourth quarter,” Straight concluded. “We couldn’t get in any type of flow on offense, and they added a late score.”
Up Next (Oct. 10): Logan-Magnolia (2-2, 4-2) will be at Woodbury Central (Moville) this week at Class A, District 8 action continues.
