EXPLAIN WHO YOU ARE: Retired. Born and raised in Pisgah. Moved back home after selling the Loess Hills Lavender Farm my wife and I owned for 12 years. Graduate of West Harrison High School and Dana College in Blair, Neb.
WHY DID YOU RUN FOR THIS POSITION? I feel I can help to maintain the city in a manner that is cooperative with other council members, respectful of citizens of Pisgah, and with proper application of rules and laws.
WHAT FROM YOUR BACKGROUND QUALIFIES YOU FOR THIS POSITION? Served on the West Harrison School Board. Served on 3 County Mutual Insurance Company Board of Directors. Served as a County Mutual Ins Company Manager for 8 years. Worked for Union Bank in Lincoln for 20 years as Marketing Representative offering investment products to County Mutual Insurance Companies in Iowa. Treasurer of the West Harrison Ministerial Alliance. Treasurer of the Harrison County Crime Stoppers. Organized the Pisgah Neighborhood Watch Program. Medicare Counselor for the Senior Health Insurance Program in Iowa for 8 years. TeamMates Mentor for 7 years. A lifetime of helping people solve problems.
WHAT ARE YOU GOALS IF ELECTED? I want to help make Pisgah a better safer place to live by working together to help the Council be more positive with each other and to encourage our citizens to participate by being watchful to prevent crime and to take pride in our city and their property.
