MISSOURI VALLEY – On Monday, Iowa House Majority Leader Matt Windschitl (R-Missouri Valley) announced his re-election bid for Iowa House District 15.
"It's an honor to serve my district and represent my constituents in the Iowa House," Windschitl said. "So long as I am in the Iowa House and Iowans continue to elect Republicans to the Majority, Iowans know their freedoms will remain protected. I am humbly asking for your vote as I run for re-election this year."
Windschitl was first elected to the Iowa House in 2006.  He has served as Majority Leader of the Iowa House since 2019. Previously, he served as Speaker Pro Tempore and as an assistant leader.

"I've served in the Iowa House with Matt Windschitl for many years now and I can honestly say no one works harder for their constituents than him," Grassley said. "I'm proud of all that Matt and I have been able to accomplish on behalf of Iowans since we were first elected to our leadership positions. He is a fierce defender of freedom and a strong advocate for rural Iowa. I look forward to continuing to work with him to move Iowa forward."
