Iowa PBS' 'Road Trip Iowa' to feature Mo Valley's Watson Station

Watson Station in Missouri Valley will be featured on an upcoming episode of Iowa PBS' new series “Road Trip Iowa.” The episode will premiere this Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. and be rebroadcast this Saturday at 9 a.m.

In this episode of “Road Trip Iowa,” viewers will visit Watson Station, a miniature railroad station run by volunteers. The episode will also highlight other stops along the Western Skies Scenic Byway including Milk & Honey, the Danish Villages and barn quilts.

Road Trip Iowa” explores the flattened prairie down the Jefferson Highway Heritage Byway, catches the stunning Mississippi River views on the Great River Road, drives through the Bohemian Alps on the Iowa Valley Scenic Byway and discovers the best places to stop along your journey. Viewers take an adventure across Iowa's scenic byways, enjoying the historic sites, unique attractions and natural beauty along the way.
