Iowa Regional Planning Affiliation (RPA)-18 seeks public comment on an amendment to its FY2024 Transportation Improvement Program. The public comment period runs Feb. 7, 2024 to Feb. 14, 2024. The amendment is necessary to adjust funding levels due to increased construction cost estimates for the 400th Street Bridge project in Mills County. The funding request for the project is increasing from $750,000 to $1,150,000. The project will be funded through the U.S. Department of Transportation Highway Bridge Program. Regional Planning Affiliation-18 includes Harrison, Shelby and Mills Counties and the eastern, non-urbanized portion of Pottawattamie County.
