John Scott Hainline, 59 of Missouri Valley, passed away at his home on Nov. 29, 2025. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at 2PM on Saturday, Dec. 20, 2025, at the Eagle’s Club in Missouri Valley. John was born on Nov. 13, 1966, in Missouri Valley. The son of Francis and LaVonne (Jacobsen) Hainline.
John was Married to Erin (Bowers) Hainline on Sept. 3, 1991, where they spent many happy years on the family farm.
John worked at Jones Automotive for 37 years. In his free time, John enjoyed working on the farm with his sons, and brothers, hunting, spending time with family and friends, hosting “Wednesday Night” with the guys, and going for drives in his Mustang.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his father-in-law Jon Bowers.
He is survived by his wife Erin, sons; Scott and Ryan (Amanda Ruffcorn), grandchildren; Hudson and Hallie, brothers; Mitch (Verna) and Mark (Deanna) and many nieces and nephews.
