Little Sioux Homecoming set for Aug. 22
The annual end-of-summer event has been set for Saturday, Aug. 22, as the 2026 Homecoming celebration has been set in Little Sioux.
This community celebration is named for welcoming soldiers home from their service to the United States during the early 1900’s.
The community parade begins at 10 a.m., with meals served afterward in the city park and at the American Legion Hall. Their will also be a horseshoe tournament, pedal tractor pull, horse rides, car show, kids games and bagpipes performance.
The fire dept. will host their community feed beginning at 5 p.m. that evening at the city park.
