In March, juniors and seniors from Logan-Magnolia High School had the unforgettable opportunity to travel to New York City as part of a school-sponsored trip. A total of 49 students, accompanied by six chaperones, made the journey.  The group of 55, enjoyed navigating the energy and excitement of one of the world’s most iconic cities.

Throughout their stay, students explored a variety of famous landmarks and cultural destinations. Highlights included taking in breathtaking views from the top of the Empire State Building, visiting Rockefeller Center, and experiencing the bright lights and fast pace of Times Square.

One of the most memorable experiences was visiting the Statue of Liberty, where students were able to see the historic symbol of freedom up close while taking in views of the New York Harbor. The group also enjoyed meals at the Hard Rock Cafe and explored the vibrant neighborhoods of Chinatown and Little Italy.

Students also had the opportunity to tour Citi Field, home of the New York Mets, giving them a behind-the-scenes look at a Major League Baseball stadium and an inside glimpse into the world of professional sports.

The highlight of the trip was attending MJ the Musical on Broadway, giving students a true taste of New York’s renowned theater scene. They also walked the scenic Chelsea High Line, offering a unique perspective of the city from above the streets.

The trip provided students with not only memorable experiences, but also a chance to explore history, culture, and the arts beyond the classroom, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
