Lo-Ma’s Vana selected to 2025 Iowa Shrine Bowl

Logan-Magnolia’s Wes Vana has been invited to play in the 2025 Iowa High School Shrine Bowl to be played on July 19 at the UNI-Dome in Cedar Falls. The top-48 players are selected for both the North and Squads.
Vana was a versitle playmaker for the Panthers last fall, starting at receiver, tight end, kick returner, quarterback and running back. He finished his senior campaign with 985 all-purpose yards on offense, including 10 touchdowns. Defensively, he finished with 38.5 tackles and one fumble recovery.
He earned 2024 Class A, District 8 First Team All-District honors, 2024 Iowa Football Coaches Association Second Team All-State honors. He becomes the 13th Lo-Ma Panthers to be selected to the Senior All-Star game.
The 2025 Iowa Shrine Bowl, South Coach will be Lo-Ma’s Matt Straight.
