The United Women in Faith of the Logan Methodist Church presented a check for a Hunger Grant they applied for to Christina Mether, who is the outreach director for West Central Community Action in Logan.
The group is very active in providing for this local food pantry, donating a quarterly check from their treasury. The church also adopts families at Christmas, and the last Sunday of each month is “Cereal Sunday,” where large amounts of boxes of cereal are provided for the pantry.
