My name is Millie Messerschmitt. I am 14 years old and go to Missouri Valley High School, and I will be writing articles from time to time for the newspaper as a student intern. Some of the activities I am in are softball, basketball and golf. I am also involved in Key Club, Math Club, FBLA and FCCLA. In my leisure time, I enjoy hanging out with my friends and writing. When I grow up I want to be a journalist for a big town like Omaha or even bigger, like New York City. I want to be a journalist because language arts has always been one of my strongest classes. This is why I wanted this opportunity, and I am very fortunate to get to write for the paper. Another passion of mine is taking pictures. I like taking landscaping photos of the mountains and the sun, for example. I also like taking pictures of people.
