Moorhead continues America’s celebration
The Declaration of Independence was signed 250 years ago this year. With it, the colonies announced their indeendence and the principles of natural rights, self-government.
There were 56 delegates from these 13 originial colonies who signed that document in 1776. The Moorhead Cultural Center has a patriotic display showcasing 47 U.S. presidents and the years they served our country, and more.
Come to the Moorhead Cultural Center to learn about the country’s history. The facility is open from 1 to 4 p.m. through Aug. 2. The center is at 120 Oak Street in Moorhead.
