DONATION: The Missouri Valley Chamber recently donated 3 Sensory Kits, and 10 additional ear muffs to the Missouri Valley Fire Department. These kits contain a weighted blanket, assorted fidget toys, sunglasses, ear muffs, and a nonverbal communication card. Now our local First Responders will have these available when needed to help communicate with autistic individuals, who may be hyper-sensitive to the activity going on around them. Shown in the photo (from left to right): Brett Winchester, Kalyn Kolls, Ted Thorpe, Angel Smiley, Judy Holcombe, & Clint Sargent.
