MVHS shines at State FCCLA
Missouri Valley competed at the State FCCLA, March 22 – 24, at the Convention Complex in Cedar Rapids.
MVHS Coordinator, Elizabeth Sturgill stated, “I’m incredibly proud of each of them. They pushed beyond their comfort zones and embraced new challenges in competition this year, with some even taking on multiple events. Not only did I see tremendous growth and progress, but I also witnessed them building meaningful connections, stepping into leadership roles, and becoming more confident in situations that once felt uncomfortable.”
Our students represented us so well in STAR Events:
Sophia Southerland – Silver (Career Investigation)
Shelbie Tiffey – Silver (Career Investigation)
Katy Kelly – Bronze (Repurpose & Redesign)
Brandon Franco – Bronze (Promote & Publicize FCCLA)
They also took on the following Iowa Events:
$20 Fashion Challenge (Zoey Davis, Katy Kelly, Brandon Franco)
