NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR BIDS Demolition of City-Owned Structure The City of Missouri Valley, Iowa, is accepting sealed bids from qualified and licensed contractors for the demolition and removal of a dilapidated residential structure located at 500 East Superior Street, Missouri Valley, Iowa 51555. The scope of work includes complete demolition of the structure, removal and lawful disposal of all debris, coordination and disconnection of utilities, site grading, and restoration of the property to a clean, safe condition in compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations. Bidders must be properly licensed and insured to perform demolition work in the State of Iowa and shall provide proof of general liability insurance and workers’ compensation coverage. All required permits shall be obtained by the successful bidder. Sealed bids shall be clearly marked “Bid – Demolition of 500 East Superior Street” and delivered to the City of Missouri Valley, Attn: John Harrison, 223 East Erie Street, Missouri Valley, IA 51555. Bids must be received no later than 4:00 p.m. on February 27, 2026. Late bids will not be considered. Contractors are encouraged to inspect the site prior to submitting a bid.
