NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR BIDS Demolition of City-Owned Structure The City of Mondamin, Iowa, is accepting sealed bids from qualified and licensed contractors for the demolition and removal of a dilapidated residential structure located at 409 Pine Street, Mondamin, Iowa 51557. The scope of work includes complete demolition of the structure, removal and lawful disposal of all debris, coordination and disconnection of utilities, site grading, and restoration of the property to a clean, safe condition in compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations. Bidders must be properly licensed and insured to perform demolition work in the State of Iowa and shall provide proof of general liability insurance and workers’ compensation coverage. All required permits shall be obtained by the successful bidder. Sealed bids shall be clearly marked “Bid – Demolition of 409 Pine Street” and delivered to the City of Mondamin, Attn: John Harrison, 120 South Main Street PO Box 196, Mondamin, IA 51557. Bids must be received no later than 4:00 p.m. on June 26, 2026. Late bids will not be considered. Contractors are encouraged to inspect the site prior to submitting a bid.
