Public Notice Notice of Election To the taxpayers and landowners in the Kirk Drainage District in Harrison County, Iowa. You and each of you are notified that an election will be held on Friday, January 19, 2024, at the Courthouse (2nd floor) in Logan, Iowa to elect one trustee board member. A Trustee will be elected for a three-year term, ending January, 2027. Also on the ballot will be the following: “Shall Kirk A Drainage District, being a contained district within the Kirk B Drainage District, dissolve, transferring all of its improvements and right of ways to the Kirk B Drainage District per Iowa Code 468.259?” “Shall Kirk B Drainage District, being the overlying district of the Kirk A Drainage District, accept the Kirk A Drainage District’s improvements and right of ways per Iowa Code 468.259?” The polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Absentee ballots are available upon written request or you may vote in the Auditor’s office, 2nd floor, Harrison County Courthouse.
