Dunlap opens vendor applications for RAGBRAI stop
An estimated 20,000 rides expected to cruise downtown Dunlap on July 19
Vendor applications are now open for businesses and organizations interested in participating in RAGBRAI when the annual bike ride comes through Dunlap on Sunday, July 19.
Dunlap will serve as the meeting town on the first day of the ride, bringing an estimated 20,000 riders and support crew members through the community during the late morning and early afternoon hours.
Applications are due by May 22, 2026. After the deadline, organizers will review submissions and select vendors based on community capacity, product variety and overall event needs.
Priority will be given to local businesses and nonprofit organizations, particularly those planning to offer food and rider services. Organizers said the number of food vendors will be determined by how many visitors that local groups feel they can reasonably serve within the event’s timeframe. Additional outside vendors may be approved to help meet demand and ensure a wide variety of food options.
“Hosting RAGBRAI is a major opportunity for our community, and we want to make sure local groups benefit first while also creating a great experience for riders,” organizers said.
In addition to food vendors, applications are open for those offering services, activities or retail items geared toward cyclists and visitors. Applications are available at dunlapia.com by clicking on the Dunlap RAGBRAI banner.
Residents and interested vendors are also encouraged to follow the Dunlap RAGBRAI 2026 Facebook page for updates, announcements and event information.
