Ceiling collapses at coffee shop

A popular coffee shop in Missouri Valley was forced to close last week under terrifying circumstances.
It could have been a thousand times worse. The ceiling collapsed.
The managers of Rise and Grind Coffee Company sent a message over Facebook to “our incredible community.” The message reads as follows:
It breaks our hearts to share this news.
Effective immediately, we have made the difficult decision to temporarily close our coffee shop due to unexpected circumstances and out of concern for the safety of our employees and the public. This was not a decision we made lightly, and it is one that comes with an incredibly heavy heart.
At this time, we do not have a timeline for reopening. We are actively working through the situation and will share updates as soon as we are able. We kindly ask for your patience and understanding as we navigate these unexpected challenges.
We are beyond grateful for the support, kindness, and loyalty you’ve shown us. Your encouragement has meant more than you know, and we sincerely hope to welcome you back through our doors as soon as it is safe to do so. Thank you for standing with us during this difficult time.
The message was accompanied by a photo of the devastation. Attempts to reach the coffee shop were unsuccessful.
