Sandra L. (Taylo) Myer passed away March 17, 2025, after a brief illness in Smyrna, Tenn.

Sandra was born Dec. 1, 1946, in Missouri Valley, to Lloyd and Vivian Taylo. She attended Missouri Valley High School and graduated in 1964. She was married to Stanley Campbell in 1965, and had two children, Mitchelle and Michelle. They later divorced. She was then married to Larry Myer until his death in 2024. Sandra owned and operated DeSoto Bait and Tackle for several decades and later after the floods, DeSoto RV Park. She loved to go fishing, eating morel mushrooms, strawberry wedding cake from Wheatfields Bakery and traveling the country with Larry while he was an independent long haul truck driver. Her passion was anything and everything Willie Nelson. She often joked that when she would see him in concert that she was going to sneak on to his tour bus and run away with him.

Sandra is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Barbara (Taylo) Powell; first husband, Stanley; second husband, Larry; and sister-in-law, Elaine Watts.

Sandra is survived by her son, Mitchelle Campbell and fiancé Cindy (Hall) Neubauer of Missouri Valley; Michelle (Campbell) Munoz and favorite son-in-law, Milton Munoz of La Vergne, Tenn.; grandson, Collin Campbell of Missouri Valley; sister, Phyllis Glarborg of Gilmer, Texas; Roberta (Birdie) Copple of Omaha, Neb.; Terry Watts, brother in-law; step-daughter, Lisa (Myer) Stowe; son-in-law, Steve Stowe; step-grandchildren. Amanda, Travis and Jessica Roane; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Willie Nelson’s Farm Aid.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date where we will raise a toast with one of her favorite adult beverages.
