Sandra Smith, age 73, passed away August 16, 2023 in Council Bluffs.
She was born in Omaha, Nebr. on April 3, 1950 to the late Cecil and Jeanette (Weiseleski) Jinks. She graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School with the class of 1968. She was united in marriage to Michael Smith in 1968, and they lived in Missouri Valley for many years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mike; brother, Tommy; sister, Linda (John); brother-in-law, Dan; sister-in-law, Linda (Roy); parents-in-law, Lavern and Alice Smith.
She is survived by her son, Arron Smith (Jill Rhoden); grandsons, Adrian Smith, Jacob Rhoden; sister, Shawn (Brian); sisters-in-law, Karen (Kenny), Julie (Duane), Lisa (Kim), Joann; nieces, nephews, and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. - 5 p.m. at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Sunday, August 20, 2023. Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Monday, August 21, 2023. The family will direct memorials.
