Sherie LaRae Larsen age 62, of Modale, passed away on Friday, Jan. 27, 2023, at her home surrounded by her loved ones. Sherie was born Aug. 8, 1960, in Omaha, Neb., to Alvin Gene and Shirley (Brown) Larsen. She will always be remembered for her contagious laugh and caring heart.
She is preceded in death by her beloved spouse, Verl; mother, Shirley Brown; stepfather, Jack Brown; father, Gene Larsen; sister, Debbie; and brother, Alvin.
Sherie is survived by three daughters and their spouses, Monica (Brandon), Faith (Travis), Gracie (Justin); grandchildren, Savanah, Gabby, Brian, Kenzie, Jourdan, Scarlett; five sisters; lots of nieces and nephews and friends.
A special Thank you to Generations Hospice for the wonderful care shown to Sherie and Verl.
Visitation and Celebration of Life service was held Saturday, Feb. 4, at Hennessey Funeral Home in Missouri Valley. Pastor Connie McWilliams officiated. The music selections were “Leaving on a Jet Plane”, “If I Could Change the World” and “Dancing in the Sky”. The final resting place is Branson Cemetery at a later date.
