Town & Country Arts Fundraising dinner planned
An interested group has plans to reopen the Town & Country Arts center, Modale, as a new board of directors has been formed.
Once renovated, the new board is undertaking fundraising efforts to assist with repairs at the historic Grand Mason Lodge in Modale, home of the Town & Country Arts.
A fundraising luncheon is set for Sunday, April 26, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Modale, featuring a chicken noodle dinner, rolls, and homemade pie.
It is a free will offering, and takeout is available.
The public is invited to come, hear the plans and enjoy a wonderful meal, ask questions, and if you enjoy the arts, please help us open our doors again.
“All of Harrison County will benefit from this,” stated Board Member Christopher Skinner, Modale. “We plan on hosting plays, concerts, exhibitions of local writers, painters, as well as offering courses over the summer months that will benefit the local children. With so many cuts to arts in our local schools within our educational system, we feel the need to fill the void and give those hidden talents a time to shine.”
