The Missouri Valley Times-News’ staff had the pleasure of welcoming West Harrison students to our office last Tuesday morning before heading to the Missouri Valley career fair that afternoon.
Whether their future path lies in journalism or elsewhere, area students, and members of the community, are always welcome to learn more about the process that goes into putting together a weekly newspaper.
We would like to thank Gina Birdsall, teacher at West Harrison, for reaching out and having interest in our newspaper, as well as the Missouri Valley Chamber of Commerce and Missouri Valley Community School District for putting together the career fair.
Whether it’s with a camera and notepad or with days like last Tuesday, we will always strive to be active participants in events that promote and improve our community.
