Relays, field events strong at Harlan Co-Ed
Both Woodbine and Missouri Valley (girls) ran at the Harlan Co-Ed Track Meet on April 13 at Harlan.
The Woodbine boys had a strong meet, with Landon Blum (high jump, long jump), Jacob Cogdill (discus) and Aiden Summerfield (3200 m run) all scoring second place finishes.
Missouri Valley girls were paced by Kaitlyn Evans (3rd place, shot put), Rylee Evans (5th place, discus) and Rylee Marcum (3rd place, discus). The Lady Reds added a second place finish in the 4 x 100 m relay.
Woodbine’s Taylor Hoefer (1st place, long jump), Vanessa Blum (2nd place, high jump), Katy Pryor (2nd place, 400 m dash) and Reagan Cogdill (3rd place, 3000 m run) had solid efforts for the Tigers. Woodbine’s 4 x 400 m and sprint medley relay teams both added third place finishes.
