WEST HARRISON COMMUNITY SCHOOL DISTRICT BOARD OF EDUCATION MONTHLY MEETING – 4:00 PM April 29, 2024 LIBRARY – MONDAMIN, IA The West Harrison Community School District Board of Education met in regular session with the following present: Julie Kuhlman, Lorraine Thomas, and Kim Nunez Directors. The meeting was called to order in the Library 4:00 p.m. by Vice President Kuhlman. Roll Call. Consent Agenda. A motion was made by Director Nunez and second by Director Thomas to consent agenda. No Discussion. Directors Kuhlman aye, Thomas aye, and Nunez aye. 3-0 A motion carried. Consideration of Hearing Date for FY24 Budget Amendment. A motion was made by Director Thomas and second by Director Nunez to set the FY 23/24 budget amendment on May 22, 2024, at 4:00 PM, at West Harrison CSD, 410 Pine Street, Mondamin, IA, 51557. Discussion. Kuhlman aye, Nunez aye, and Thomas aye 3-0. Director. Motion carried. Consideration of FY 24-25 Wage and Salary Contracts. Motion was made by Director Nunez and second by Director Thomas to approve the FY 24-25 wage and salary contracts. Discussion. Kuhlman aye, Nunez aye, and Thomas aye 3-0. Director. Motion carried. Consideration of Softball Sharing Agreement. Motion was made by Director Nunez and second by Director Thomas to approve the Softball Sharing Agreement with Logan-Magnolia. Discussion.
